Heading For Barbados

We were so excited for this trip. We flew into Miami, Florida and drove to Ft. Lauderdale the day before our flight to Barbados. We wanted to revisit some old stomping grounds and, of course, we couldn’t leave without eating at “Coconuts On The Beach”. Excellent seafood especially their coconut shrimp and after the flight and drive to get there, we had to start the vacation with some Piña Coladas.

Afterwards, we checked into the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Hotel and strolled around the harbor. It was beautiful with the moon glistening off the ocean illuminating the boats and some really expensive, multi-million dollar yachts. The smell of the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves crashing up against the boats was a nice way to relax before heading off to bed.
